Since 1967, NCR has built very exclusive performance motorcycles. At NCR, we strive to offer the highest technology with unmatched quality for all our customers. Every motorcycle is hand built with the greatest attention to detail. NCR continues this trend with its latest introduction of a truly exclusive and technologically advanced Ippoliti Designed NCR Millona 16 or simply the NCR M16:
Starting with a Ducati DD16RR, the NCR M16 utilizes the latest carbon fiber and titanium to create a clean and flowing design with functionality as its main criteria. We can see the family evolution of the NCR Millona One Shot air cooled motorcycle in the lines of the new NCR M16. The NCR tradition of unmatched power to weight ration continues to be the main driving force in the design and development.
Upon closer inspection, you will note that this is no ordinary motorcycle. It was conceived from the start to be the most exclusive motorcycle in the world by using the strongest and lightest material in the world. By carefully developing every single component to be as light and strong as possible while achieving the very best performance. WIthout gas, the NCR M16 achieves an incredible weight of 145 kg (319 lbs). Since there are no rules to follow, the weight is actually lighter than the imposed minimum weight of a MotoGP motorcycle!
To achieve this weight, NCR designed and developed its own carbon fiber frame while improving the air intake system by allowing an unobstructed flow of air through the steering head. Again with the goal of achieving the lightest weight and the strongest performance, NCR developed a new swingarm in carbon fiber as well. The fuel tank, faring, subframe/tail, fender, front faring stay are all carbon as well. Even the NCR wheels are been projected and manufactured in carbon fiber.
All mechanical parts are either titanium or avionic grade aluminum with material grades derived from Formula 1. This is of course in the NCR tradition. The motor develops over 200 horsepower at the rear wheel. WIth the latest generation MotoGP suspension in front and rear, the racing heritage continues. Also the brakes are from the highest racing application.
The NCR M16 uses its own electronics derived from racing with full traction control, data collection and recording, 3 user selectable maps, as well as constant fuel remapping based on environment and gas conditions.

It’s great to be a Ducati rider. But some guy’s they want to make it special. The Dutchman Ton Dofferhoff knows all about it.
He told us: “I have some experiences with different bikes; I’ve tried the 1098, 916,998 and 999 and my hunger wasn’t finished yet. I used the Ducati 848 last year during the Dutch 3D cup, a cup only for Ducati bikes very well organised and on some different racetracks but one bike was always looking at me. And smiling..
When I got the possibility to ride it, I was sure about my decision, the NCR Millona was just perfect. The bike was light and easy to move and after some experiments around the race track curves, I just realised I could go much more faster and faster with this bike., “only by keeping upon the throttle and pass faster in the curves”. This Millona is holding the record of an unknown and timeless beauty for me. Every part of the engine and faring fits into an other part and is simple made without any extra ordinary complexity.
The 2 Valves Ducati 1000DS engine is keeping the price of maintenance under control and because the average in power, lightness and brakes it is one of most amusing bikes in the world, or is it amazing bikes in the world? No, I can’t fight anymore against the 4 Valves high Horse Power bikes but with this NCR Millona I can feel my selves relaxed and I really enjoy every racetrack without a feeling to be scared to push to deep or get scared from the bikes aggressive reaction.
Actually this moment we are working on some extra power. We will use some NCR high pressure pistons, a 1078 cc cylinder, change the camshaft and we will transfer our exhaust system into a brand new one. Many thanks to my dealer Ducati Affetto and to the NCR factory in Bologna. This factory did not only build this Millona but they developed also a range of racing parts to build the NCR Millona as you like.
The MILLONA project has been completely fathered and developed by NCR, starting from the rapid prototyping, an advanced technology belonging to the POGGIPOLINI GROUP, which allows to get from the drawing board to the working prototypes (that can be tested and refined mechanically) of the bike’s parts in the shortest time. The frame is made of Cr-Mo and has been developed by R&D NCR engineers. Aldo Drudi provided the design of the bike. The aluminium back swing arm is also completely hand built by NCR.
All particulars have been thought of in the smallest detail and only top-notch suppliers have been selected. The main foundation of NCR products is that of employing all the know-how and technological expertise of the POGGIPOLINI GROUP.

Thanks to Francesco Gatti for the Italian version.
The NCR 848 developed into a true race bike with exceptional power delivery and handling making it a class leading package to be chased. Regardless of your race aspirations, NCR has developed a complete package to be used for racing or for casual track days. So you can choose a complete turn key solution from NCR or customize your own 848, 1098 or 1098R with unlimited solutions from NCR.

vittoria di Bartolini su MILLONA, giro record di Bartolini in 1.45.4 classe Battle of the Twins, terzo e quarto posto conquistati da Larry Pegram (DNA) e Ian Ienatch (Cycle World) e momento storico e celebrativo di Cook Neilson su NEW BLUE.

Besides the introduction of the Mike Hailwood TT bike, NCR’s Ducati 848 was also present at the EICMA in Milan.
The NCR Ducati 848 was built through a collaboration with the US Ducati factory. The bike and team rode in the Parts Canada Superbike Championship in the Thunder Class and won the Championship with riders Valter Bartolini and Andrew Nelson in a perfect year, with seven victories and seven pole positions in seven races.
The bike weight is only 155 kg, the engine has the option of titanium connecting rods carved out of billet, high compression forged pistons, titanium valves and a balanced crankshaft. It can reach 145 HP at 12,500 rpm with a torque of 12Kgm at 10.000 rpm. Other options include a front suspension with Ohlins-NCR internal damping system and NCR Corse-EFI electronic part accepting full mapping capabilities along with Lambda interface for closed loop mapping control.
If this does not fit into your own budget or ideas, all the parts can be ordered separately, not just as a complete kit. NCR sells other models, like the well known Millona, the New Blue, the Legere and the Macchia Nera concept bike. NCR is located at Bologna in Italy. It’s possible to build your own Ducati 848 into the NCR 848 model, because all the parts are commercialised by NCR. To give you an idea about the way this great bike can be built, we give you a nice example.
