Carlos Checa :”In few days we’ll leave for Portimao and I will be able to start to work with my new technicians in order to start the Superbike world championship in the best possible way. My team worked very hard to prepare the bikes and I’ll do my best starting from the first test session in Portimao because I want to start this 2010 season in the right way”
Shane Byrne :”I’m really very happy to be part of this team. Today I saw my new Ducati bike for the first time and I’m eager to ride it in Portimao. Now I know all the components of the team and I’m sure it will be exciting work in such a professional squad, especially with Carlos Checa alongside. He’s got a lot of experience and I’m sure he’ll be a great teammate. This year I want to firmly stay in the first positions in every race”.
The entire team will fly to Portimao for three days of testing (22nd, 23rd and 24th of January), followed directly by two more days of testing at Valencia (27th and 28th of January).

Carlos Checa :”L’attesa sta per finire. Tra pochi giorni saremo a Portimao e potrò iniziare a lavorare ci i miei tecnici per affrontare al meglio la nuova stagione. Il mio team ha lavorato molto per preparare tutto al meglio e da parte mia darò il massimo sin dalle prossime prove sulla pista Portoghese perché voglio iniziare il campionato Superbike 2010 con il piede giusto”
Shane Byrne :”Sono molto contento di far parte di questa squadra. Oggi ho visto per la prima volta la mia nuova Ducati e non vedo l’ora di provarla sulla pista di Portimao. Ho conosciuto tutti i ragazzi della mia squadra e sono certo che sarà bellissimo lavorare con
loro ed essere il compagno di squadra di un pilota esperto come Carlos Checa. Nel 2010 voglio fare meglio di quanto ho fatto lo scorso anno e restare stabilmente nelle prime posizioni”.
Ora il prossimo appuntamento per il team Althea è fissato ai test di Portimao (22, 23 e 24 Gennaio) dove saranno presenti tutti i team che parteciperanno al mondiale Superbike 2010. Dal Portogallo la squadra di Genesio Bevilacqua si trasferirà quindi in Spagna sulla pista di Valencia per altri due giorni di prove (27 e 28 Gennaio).
